    Looking back at 2019

Last year was tough for me for one reason or another, but I've come through and out the other side with some great moments along the way! 2019 got off to a pretty rocky start for me! At New Year I was very poorly and in hospital with pneumonia having just had surgery to put an emergency feeding tube in! I'm pleased to say I've made a full recovery, but it has taken quite a while and I have been left with a lot of changes to get used to like being fed through a tube. Read my N

    Summer Refresh!

Over this summer, since the exhibition in early July, I have been taking some time out to decide where to takes things next. So I thought I would fill you in with where I'm at, what I've been up to and what's coming up! The church Creative Arts exhibition back in July was a fun event to take part in, after been really poorly in the winter it was a great way to refocus. Moving forward once the exhibition had finished it seemed a great opportunity to have a bit of a break and t

    New Beginnings

Still from the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch advert. I think it's fair to say that my 2019 didn't get off to the best start! I was very poorly and in hospital over Christmas and New Year with pneumonia, which was no fun at all! I have thankfully fully recovered, but unfortunately I have now been put in a new life changing situation! Apologies if this is too frank for some people! Unfortunately my disability, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, means I have progressive muscle weakness t

    Christmas Rush!

Well as it is for all of us the build up to Christmas is a busy time of year and with three craft fairs I've had my fair share of busyness! I just thought I would drop you a few lines to let you know what I've been up to, and let you know what's coming up! I also thought it was a good time to look back over the year. Firstly, thank you for your support if you were at the Christmas Book and Card Sale on Saturday 17th! It was great to chat to some of you and get some lovely fee

Exhibition Preparations & How I Take Photos!

My latest exhibition is fast approaching and with a week to go the final preparations are well underway! I do hope you can make it on Saturday 29th with 62 new images on show, light refreshments and prints, cards, cushions and bags on sale! Perfect for a spot of early Christmas shopping! I thought in this post I would also take some time answering one of the questions I frequently get asked, "how do you take the photos in the first place?" Well hopefully I can provide some an

    2018 Update!

A very belated happy new year!! Well I can safely say that 2018 has started off very busy and I think promises to be a really exciting time! I had a good time in Norfolk over Christmas and New Year despite of coming down with a cold, but never mind! Since then most of my time has been spent finishing my work for the charity Waveney Stardust as I mentioned in my last blog post. It has been a great project to work on and it was very satisfying to see everything come together (M
